Job Description

We work with clients across the entire project life cycle — from initial planning studies through final construction and operations and maintenance services — on both traditional and alternative project-delivery options (design-build, public-private partnerships and financing). We design projects that are fully constructible. We are seeking an experienced Municipal Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects that support growing communities. In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of projects involving water distribution, sanitary collection, stormwater systems, and roadway reconstruction or expansion. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, municipal clients, and contractors while overseeing project scope, schedule, budget, and quality, and providing technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Include: Lead the delivery of municipal infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction and commissioning. Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and proposals while monitoring performance and cost forecasts. Provide senior technical oversight for water, sanitary, stormwater, grading, roadway, and utility design. Oversee construction administration including RFIs, change orders, shop drawing reviews, inspections, and contractor coordination. Serve as the primary liaison with municipal clients, utilities, regulators, and other project stakeholders. Prepare technical reports, support permitting and approvals, and ensure compliance with applicable standards. Mentor junior team members and promote strong QA/QC and project delivery practices.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: BA degree in Civil Engineering and Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation 4+ years of progressive Project Management experience in municipal engineering and infrastructure project delivery. Demonstrated experience with water, sanitary, stormwater, and roadway design and construction. Strong understanding of municipal standards, provincial regulations, and engineering best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

10+ years of experience delivering municipal infrastructure projects. Experience with asset management, master planning, or capital program development. PMP or equivalent project management certification. Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex
