Production Machining of routine and custom products using manual mills and lathes.   Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals to perform set ups and production processes.   Calibrate machines to perform operations within its capability by positioning, aligning, securing work, utilizing and adapting appropriate tools.  Use analytical skills to formulate machine adjustments and perform the machining process.  Collaborating with engineering teams to optimize production processes and resolve and develop unique solutions.   Utilize of inspection equipment including indicators, micrometers, calipers, and surface plates.  Inspect and certify your work product.  Work independently using all resources available to troubleshoot and resolve problems.   Perform daily, quarterly, annual Preventative Maintenance on equipment.  Effectively work in an environment requiring both repetitive and unique products.  Maintain focus on safety and quality.  Build manufacturing fixtures.  Overtime available on a business need basis.

You Must Have: Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience 5+ years of manual Mill/Lathe experience.  The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
