Associate Corporate Counsel

This role will support importing, customs, transportation, logistics, and supply chain legal matters in APAC – directly enabling AWS's growth. You will navigate rapidly evolving regulatory landscapes spanning multiple legal systems, deliver strategic trade legal counsel on cutting-edge hardware and technology deployments, including AI accelerators and next-generation networking equipment, and directly influence AWS's global expansion strategy. In this role, you'll collaborate with business and legal teams across AWS and Amazon to develop innovative compliance and business solutions, manage government engagements, and help shape the regulatory frameworks that govern how AWS builds and operates across Asia-Pacific. Some travel, both domestic and international, will be required. Key job responsibilities • Provide legal counsel on import, customs, export controls, sanctions, and other international trade laws applicable to cutting-edge technologies • Develop innovative international trade compliance solutions • Research and analyze evolving regulatory landscapes, communicating complex legal implications to business stakeholders • Support regulatory engagements and provide strategic input on legal and business decisions • Manage multiple complex legal matters simultaneously with precision and creativity A day in the life Your day will be dynamic and impactful, involving direct collaboration with global business teams, researching emerging regulatory trends, and developing creative compliance and business-impacting strategies.
