A Technical Reporting Consultant is a member of Workday’s Global Professional Services organization dedicated to the implementation of our cloud-based software within the State and Local Government industry. We help customers make the most of the Workday platform! The State & Local Government Technical Consulting team is responsible for the Data Conversion, Integration, and Reporting workstreams on Workday implementation projects. As a diverse group driven by a passion for the success of our customers, we provide leadership and technical expertise to efficiently guide customers through their deployments. The Technical Consultant works closely with the client’s project team to design, develop, and deploy a customer’s relevant reporting and analytic solutions. They have knowledge of core design principles, common data modeling and patterns, project implementation methodology, and a successful track record of delivering. The Technical Consultant will: Lead and project manage reporting workstream(s), hitting delivery dates and driving results Conduct discovery sessions to develop and document a thorough understanding of customers’ reporting needs Design and implement reports to address complex customer requirements Assist customer in testing reporting solutions and conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure post-production success Participate in internal initiatives and process improvement About You We are looking for hardworking, creative consultants who are passionate about what they do! Principal Technical Consultant (P5) 6+ years of experience with Workday Reporting and Prism 8+ years of experience with integration development or report building 8+ years of experience with technical consulting, requirements gathering, or solution design 8+ years of Human Resource, Payroll, or Financials domain experience Basic Qualifications: Sr Technical Consultant (P4) 4+ years of experience with Workday Reporting and Prism 6+ years of experience with integration development or report building 6+ years of experience with technical consulting, requirements gathering, or solution design 6+ years of Human Resource, Payroll, or Financials domain experience Other Qualifications (Preferred) Experience working within or with the State and Local Government industry
