Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health is the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC’s), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system is a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it ensures that residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. This full-service hospital includes 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, a 500-car garage, and a helipad for emergency transport. We are seeking an experienced RN Clinical Supervisor - Operating Room (Full Time-Days) Our ideal candidate provides shift-to-shift oversight of clinical practice, staffing, patient flow, safety, service excellence, and resource utilization to support daily operations. The RN Clinical Supervisor maintains a safe and effective environment of care and delivers patient care in a competent, compassionate, and efficient manner. Care is provided in accordance with the age-specific needs of the patients served. This role models organizational values, provides real-time coaching and feedback to staff, and leads or participates in process improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and team engagement. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Provide real-time operational leadership for assigned shift, ensuring safe staffing, patient throughput, and effective resource utilization Oversee clinical practice to ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements Coordinate patient flow, admissions, discharges, and transfers to optimize capacity and patient experience Serve as a clinical resource and support staff in complex patient care situations Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment of care Provide immediate coaching, feedback, and performance support to staff Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care Lead and/or participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality projects Monitor and address patient safety concerns, incidents, and risk events Support employee engagement initiatives, including shared governance and professional development Ensure accurate documentation and effective communication across shifts To learn more visit https://cedarhillregional.com/ or https://jobs.uhsinc.com/cedar-hill-regional-medical-center.
