Job Description
At Regions, the Accounting Analyst prepares accurate and timely financial reporting that may include, but not limited to, special requests, producing monthly and quarterly reporting, and adding value through continued process improvement.
Primary Responsibilities
Assists in preparation detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of management Contributes to process improvements and makes recommendations on occasion Researches and responds to technical accounting inquiries from our business partners Analyzes and resolves problems using prescribed guidelines or policies Completes ad-hoc reporting or other special projects as they arise This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a directly related field One (1) year in public accounting or industry with reporting, policy, or financial analysis experience Preferences Master of Business Administration (MBA) and/or Master's degree in Finance Experience within a financial services industry Certified Public Accountant Licensure (CPA) Skills and Competencies Ability to research, analyze data, and drive appropriate solutions Ability to work under direct guidance Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills Strong work ethic and self-motivation This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience. Regions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position at this time. Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Type Full time Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position. Job Range Target: Minimum: $46,759.35 USD Median: $64,270.00 USD Incentive Pay Plans: This job is not incentive eligible.
