Job Description
Summary: This position is responsible to design Assembly line design from scratch from existing layout considering Line balancing, Throughput validation, Material flow, Space availability, assembly cost and cycle time. You will report to MANAGER, MECHANICAL ENGINEER and follow a Hybrid working schedule in Bangalore Your Responsibilities: Design of assembly line design, production & inspection station design from scratch and develop assembly line layout. Design of assembly layout with clear description of material movement, assembly, inspection, packaging, etc Calculate/Detailing on Assembly line efficiency, operator efficiency, Line Balancing o Ability to prepare assembly process simulation Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). Experience with Product BOM and connected processes in the manufacturing Have good understanding about assembly manufacturing process in the plants with series production and processes about manufacturing, quality, inventory dispatch. Strong written, verbal communication skills and presentation skills are required. The Essentials - You Will Have: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from reputed college with minimum 70% aggregate throughout education & Experience At least 3+ years experience on assembly line design and development The Preferred - You Might Also Have: Experience working in plants coordinating design to manufacturing, Production Planning and Control (PPC), Quality Functions, components level manufacturing is an added advantage.
