Reporting to the Plating & Processing Supervisor, the Process Technician - E-Nickel will be involved in the electroless nickel plating of aircraft components. Work Shift: Weekend Nights (Friday-Sunday) 6:00 pm - 6:00 am) What You Will Do Electroless nickel plating of aircraft components, including preparation of components, to customer specifications and development of work techniques Part fixturing, masking and lacquering. Loading and unloading tanks. Tank/chemistry, associated tooling and PM maintenance. Act as a cross functional team member and support various processes as requested Participate in lean initiatives (i.e. 5S, TPM, process improvement teams) Communicate and co-ordinate priorities and process issues between operators and shifts Observe and adhere to all safety policies and procedures Use overhead cranes to move parts Perform other duties as assigned.

You Must Have High school diploma, with a minimum of 1-3 years of previous process chemistry background. Prior plating experience would be an asset. Sound working knowledge of measuring equipment such as calipers, dial bore gauges and Elco meters. The selected candidate has to be eligible to work in Canada; successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP Qualifications We Prefer Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and work with various hand tools.
