Cytiva's Field Service Engineer is responsible for several activities such as installation and qualification, preventative maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs, as well as promoting service contracts and identifying opportunities that have a significant impact on the organization. This position is part of the Biotechnology Integrated Solutions – Equipment Services team based in Italy (preferably in the Lombardy/Emilia Romagna/Tuscany regions) and will be fully remote. As part of your duties, you will have the opportunity to: Represent the company to our clients Plan and execute service activities at the customer's site Manage own stock and work orders Participate in sales opportunities and assist with promoting and implementing revenue programs. The essential requirements of the position are as follows:
Education
Majored in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer, Electronic or Automation or equivalent field Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position Technical skills: Very good mechanical and electrical skills, experience troubleshooting English is required Ability to travel: 70 % travel and overnight stay within territory It would be a plus if you also had previous experience in the following areas: Biopharma or Biotechnologies Industry Computers (Windows OS, PC, server), networks and database Base salary and level of employment This role is classified under the applicable CCNL as third-level employee under the CBA Commercio , which defines minimum terms, job classification, and baseline progression frameworks. The expected gross annual salary range for this role is €35.100 - €48.300, determined based on objective criteria such as experience, skills, and role-related competencies. Bonus / Incentive Pay 12% of annual base salary This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay. This is the target earnings as 12% of base annual salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions.
