Johnson & Johnson MedTech Surgery, Robotics and Digital, is seeking an experienced Development Engineering Manager to lead a team of Development Engineers supporting the OTTAVA Surgical Robotics platform. This role will be responsible for managing and developing engineering talent, driving tactical and operational execution for product development and design transfer activities, and partnering cross-functionally to deliver robust, manufacturable, cost-effective, and compliant medical device solutions. The Development Engineering Manager will lead a team of individual contributors responsible for supporting New Product Development, New Product Introduction, design transfer, component development, supplier engagement, and manufacturing readiness. The team works closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Product Management, Supplier Engineering, and external suppliers to ensure product designs, components, equipment, and manufacturing processes are technically robust, manufacturable, cost-effective, and compliant with medical device requirements.
