RI&S Integrated Estimating and Pricing is seeking a strong candidate for an Estimating & Pricing Principal Specialist position. The qualified candidate will partner and support proposal activity for the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems (ISRS) programs in McKinney, TX. This position provides a tremendous growth opportunity for an ambitious individual to partner with the program leadership team, as well as Program / Capture Managers, Finance, Technical Leads, and functional support.
What You Will Do
Plan and schedule proposal efforts. Participate in proposal pricing activities & Cost Volume Development by providing support for all phases of the proposal process - proposal development through negotiations. Compile cost, schedule and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with the Request for Proposal (RFP) specifications and compliant with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Coordinate the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling and performance elements from functional departments Analyzes BOMs and BOEs ensuring reasonableness, adequate rationale and proper backup data Research and analyze historical data to support proposal efforts Review cost input for reasonableness. Prepare and present internal management reviews up to the Director level in accordance with the proposal schedule Coordinate activities and participate in fact-finding meetings Participate in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives Support DCAA proposal audits Participate as a member of the contract negotiating team Provide direction/functions as an advisor to subordinate teammates to meet all objectives required for proposal preparation and monitors daily operations Ensure all applicable parties (e.g., Engineering, Subcontracts, program management and other E&P colleagues) collaborate toward accurate, current and complete proposal submissions Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience Experience with Proposal Development and/or Cost Volume Management
