Job Description
Who You'll Work With: The Logistics & Inventory Coordinator will be based in Arista's Bengaluru office and report to the Global Logistics team. The coordinator will manage day-to-day shipping, receiving, and inventory operations for the Bengaluru location while providing centralised shipping and documentation support for Pune and Chennai through close coordination with designated site contacts. This is a hands-on operational role for someone who enjoys learning, solving day-to-day operational challenges, and ensuring every shipment and inventory movement is accurately completed from initiation through system and document closure. The role works closely with Facilities, Finance, Procurement, Global Trade Compliance and other business functions. The coordinator will also serve as the operational contact for Customs House Agents (CHA), SEZ service providers, courier companies, freight forwarders and transport providers. What You’ll Do Shipping & Logistics Coordination Execute day-to-day shipping and receiving activities for the Bengaluru location. Provide centralised shipping coordination and documentation support for Pune and Chennai. Arrange shipment pickups, courier bookings, freight movements and deliveries using approved logistics service providers. Support receiving, inspection, storage, internal delivery and dispatch activities with local stakeholders. Work with designated Pune and Chennai contacts to confirm receipt, quantities, serial numbers, asset handover and dispatch activities. Track shipments from pickup through final delivery, ensuring receiving confirmations, proof of delivery and supporting documentation are completed before operational closure. Support domestic movements between Arista locations, suppliers, contract manufacturers, repair vendors and other approved third-party service providers. Support return-to-vendor, repair, replacement, temporary removal and equipment return activities. Escalate shipment delays, missing documentation and operational issues promptly to the appropriate stakeholders. Inventory & System Management Perform timely and accurate inventory transactions for hardware received, transferred, dispatched, returned or relocated. Create and maintain inventory transactions in NetSuite and other designated logistics, inventory or asset management systems. Maintain accurate inventory records, including item numbers, serial numbers, asset tags, custodians and movement status. Ensure system records accurately reflect all physical hardware movements. Reconcile shipment documentation, inventory records and system transactions, investigating and resolving discrepancies
