Join our team As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will work and act as a leader within the System Engineering team supporting and developing system engineering activities in a global environment and project. You will perform scientific and engineering efforts and coordinate other engineers in task related to interface management, material selection, flow assurance, P&IDs, requirements management, design baisis, design reviews, etc. You will deliver projects through the stages of design, verification, production and commercialization. As System Lead Engineer , you will be responsible for: Controlling Scope and daily tasks with expertise and in alignment to project schedule. Liaising with clients at a technical and management level to ensure their needs are being met and ensuring they are aware of the data input requirements to allow the study to proceed on-schedule; Planning tasks and coordinating a multidisciplinary engineering team, capturing their skill sets to best serve the project task. Ensuring and promoting good communication across different stakeholders and system engineering disciplines. Showing and carrying constant work organization tightness. Working collaboratively with a global engineering community. Communicating with global Customers mostly in English language ensuring customer satisfaction and participation in the project execution process. Developing Project deliverables, reviewing and approving the work of others, such as but not limited to material philosophies, material selection reports, flow assurance studies (erosional, Thermal, hydraulic and electrical analysis), basis of designs, schematics, P&IDs, SIT/E-FAT procedures, reports, etc. Securing customer and international standards requirements addressment, providing system design inputs to other engineering product lines where needed. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a MSc or BSc degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Controls Engineering or equivalent as required with extensive experience in a similar role; Have proven experience in project execution and engineering activities; Have broad knowledge of processes, methods and procedures within project and system engineering disciplines; Proficiency in communicating technically with other engineers in English across the globe. System engineering background required with multidisciplinary engineering expertise. Holistic view at system level and interface management are mandatory for this role. Expertise in lean practices and continuous improvement strategies are paramount. Background in leading and coordinating cost-out exercises is appreciated. A Solution and Cost driven mindset. Proactiveness and engagement to cover daily tasks. Quick learning and resilience skill sets to a changing scenario. Ability to work and/or support more than two projects running in parallel. Availability to travel and to represent Baker Hughes in technical workshops and fairs OR occasionally to international client site. Desirable Skilled in Engineering Database set up and configuration (SAP or Team Center) Masters or Pos-graduation in Engineering; Technical and customer-facing International experience.
