Develop tools and processes used to maintain a common, data standard across the organization. 2. Assess, manage, maintain strategies that reduce data redundancy and increases the consistency / confidence of data used for decision making; improving knowledge firm-wide. 3. Define and deliver data management standards, processes and controls and content for the creation and maintenance of common data dictionaries. 4. Participates in periodic reviews to ensure continued compliance with the data governance policies (includes compliance assessments, monitoring and control testing). 5. Resolves conflicting priorities among data owners, data consumers and custodians within sphere of the domain. 6. Drive efficiency and risk mitigation through balancing business value and cost working with data owners, and consumers to deliver an efficient operating model and data architecture. 7. Collaborates with partners across the organization in maintaining the data governance and data quality structures ensuring we are meeting business needs while balancing quality, risk and cost. 8. Coordinate and implement data quality remediation efforts to ensure data meets the standards identified by the enterprise. 9. Experienced, functional expert with technical and/or business knowledge and functional expertise 10. Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues 11. Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to help improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity 12. Strategic in developing, implementing and administering programs within functional areas 13. Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication Knowledge : Strong understanding and capable of effectively communicating the role of Data Governance to both business and technical communities within the sphere of data domain; possess broad knowledge of the domain data Understand key business drivers of those functions which enter, modify, manage, and consume the data within domain Understand all aspects of defining and implementing data quality management Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Possess proven facilitation and conflict resolution skills Possess exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities Experience :Strong understanding and capable of effectively communicating the role of Data Governance to both business and technical communities within the sphere of data domain; possess broad knowledge of the domain data Understand key business drivers of those functions which enter, modify, manage, and consume the data within domain Understand all aspects of defining and implementing data quality management Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Possess proven facilitation and conflict resolution skills Possess exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities Salary Range: $95,600 - 162,400 USD Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
