Senior .NET + Python Developer     About Global Delivery Services     Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.       The Opportunity     We are looking for a Senior Engineer (.NET) to join our engineering team, with 3-7 years of strong hands-on experience in designing and developing enterprise-grade applications. The role requires deep technical proficiency in .NET Core/ASP.NET Core, MVC, Python, MS SQL/SQL Azure, Entity Framework, along with the ability to build clean, efficient, cloud ready code. In this role, you will contribute in two key capacities:

by developing high performance backend and frontend components aligned to target-state architecture and functional specifications, and  by supporting modernization and optimization initiatives, leveraging cloud capabilities, automation, and performance engineering best practices to enhance product efficiency and reliability.

Your Key Responsibilities

The candidate should have expertise in developing and/or enhancing technology solutions. This role includes the management of technical tasks within the project plan, coordination with the project manager, appropriate resourcing of a project, and ensures the project team follows the processes for quality delivery.   The candidate will participate in all aspects of the delivery cycle from sprint planning through release. The candidate will be expected to deliver quality, robust code which performs well and has the ability to scale as needed.     Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

To qualify for the role you must have

BE/BTech/MCA with a sound industry experience of around 3 to 7 Yrs. Very strong core Python programming skills. Experience of working with libraries like Pandas, NumPy Experience in MVC, .Net Core and Entity Framework. Solid working knowledge of relational database development: MS SQL/SQL Azure, EF 6, EF Core Microsoft .NET technology, ASP .NET, C# and or VB.NET, Windows or Web based
