The Consultant, Corporate Compliance team plays a critical role in supporting and advancing the enterprise's fraud risk management program. Reporting to the Senior Director, Anti-Fraud Compliance, this position is responsible for executing advisory, regulatory, and control activities designed to detect, prevent, and mitigate fraud risk across the organization, with a particular emphasis on Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance fraud. A significant focus of this role is providing fraud advisory support to business partners across the P&C insurance organization . This includes identifying emerging fraud risks, recommending control enhancements, supporting fraud risk assessments, and advising on complex fraud matters and investigations. The role also supports the preparation, review, and submission of fraud-related filings and reports to regulatory agencies and industry organizations, as appropriate. This position contributes to strategic initiatives aimed at modernizing the fraud program through advanced analytics, automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and emerging technologies, such as Power BI and Power Automate . The ideal candidate demonstrates an ability to leverage data and technology to increase operational efficiency and strengthen fraud reporting capabilities. Experience with AI-enabled solutions, workflow automation, machine learning, data analytics, or related technologies is highly desirable. Additionally, the consultant serves as a key contributor to the organization's fraud governance, monitoring, and continuous improvement efforts. Other responsibilities include fraud trend analysis, fraud detection and monitoring oversight, risk assessments, control evaluations, and support for fraud reporting and regulatory compliance activities. The Consultant will partner closely with claims, underwriting, legal, compliance, SIU, and other business stakeholders to strengthen fraud prevention and detection capabilities, enhance escalation processes, and improve overall program effectiveness. This role requires a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, communication, and effective fraud risk mitigation. Prior experience in fraud governance, detection and/or prevention and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification is a plus. The position will be located in Columbus, OH with a hybrid schedule. Consideration may be given for remote opportunity depending on experience.
