Responsibilities   VMware ESX / Virtualization   Administer VMware ESX/ESXi and vCenter environments, including VM provisioning, resource management, and troubleshooting.  Manage snapshots, templates, storage, and virtual networking.  Support VMware upgrades, patching, and capacity planning activities.  Ensure optimal performance and availability of virtualized workloads.  Operations & Support   Provide L2/L3 support for Windows and VMware-related incidents and service requests.  Lead resolution of high-severity incidents , perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.  Participate in on-call support and planned maintenance activities.  Security, Backup & Compliance   Implement and maintain security best practices , including server hardening and access controls.  Support backup and recovery solutions and perform regular restore testing.  Ensure systems meet compliance, audit, and operational standards.  Documentation & Collaboration   Create and maintain technical documentation , SOPs, runbooks, and system configurations.  Communicate effectively with stakeholders on system status, risks, and improvement initiatives.    Required Skills & Qualifications   Strong hands-on experience with VMware ESX/ESXi and vCenter .  In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP , and Windows services.  Experience with patch management, monitoring, backup, and recovery.  Good understanding of ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management .  Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.    Preferred Certifications   Microsoft Certified: Windows Server / Azure Hybrid (or equivalent)  VMware VCP  Qualifications Bachelors - Computer Engineering, Bachelors - Database Management, Bachelors - Information Systems, Bachelors - Information Technology, Bachelors - Network Engineering Certifications AWS Certified Security - Specialty - Amazon Web Services (AWS)Amazon Web Services (AWS), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) - International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC²)International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC²), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) - Workforce Academy OnlineWorkforce Academy Online Required Skills Agile Methodology, Apple Mac OS, Change Management, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Client Relations, Cloud Assessment, Cloud Strategies, Collaboration Tools, Design Thinking, Executive Presence, IBM AIX, IBM Rational ClearCase, Inclusion, Microsoft Azure Advanced Threat Protection, Modernizing Operations, Oracle WebLogic, People Leadership, Personal
