Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of oncology sales representatives to achieve sales and performance objectives. Develop and execute territory and account strategies to maximize growth and market penetration. Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and risks. Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and relevant healthcare stakeholders. Ensure execution of brand plans and field initiatives in alignment with business strategy. Monitor team performance against KPIs and implement action plans to address gaps. Collaborate with marketing, medical, market access, training, and other cross-functional teams. Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and industry codes. Support hiring, onboarding, training, and continuous development of team members. Prepare business reviews, forecasts, and territory plans for leadership.
Qualifications
Required Bachelor’s degree in business, science, pharmacy, life sciences, or related field. 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sales, preferably in oncology. 2+ years of people management experience. Strong understanding of oncology markets, treatment pathways, and customer segments. Demonstrated ability to drive performance and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong business acumen and analytical skills. Proficiency with CRM tools and standard MS Office applications. Ability to travel as required within the assigned territory. Preferred Experience launching or supporting specialty products in oncology. Experience working with hospital, clinic, and community oncology settings. Knowledge of Canadian healthcare environment and payer/access landscape.
