In the HPE Hybrid Cloud, we lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Working with customers, we help them reimagine their information technology needs to deliver a simple, consumable solution that helps them drive their business results. Responsibilities
Architect and design fairly large enhancements and modules for HPE storage products QA automation frameworks, libraries, applications and utilities Knowledge of complete SDLC and experience in software testing methodology, tools, test planning and test execution Code reviewing skills with sharp ability to identify potential errors, missing logic and coding convention violations Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for performing root cause analysis. Ability to effectively work with stakeholders in multiple engineering teams for defect investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective/preventative actions. Experience working in continuous integration and continuous delivery. Design, automate and execute tests(unit tests and integration tests) for the above-mentioned automated solutions; identify and debug issues with code and suggest changes or improvements. Collaborate and communicate with internal and outsourced development partners What you need to bring:
Education and Experience
Required: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent. Ideal candidates will have at least 7-12 years of relevant experience in developing and supporting automation test frameworks and test libraries Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in programming languages and Object-oriented design Experience in the following areas/technologies: Development of software and modules preferably in Python, C, Shell scripts Operating system and IO subsystem knowledge on Linux, Windows, VMWare CI/CD, Git/Gitlab, GitHub, Jenkins Scale/performance testing tools Familiarity with Git, Jira, Confluence, and defect tracking workflows.
