Together, we’re improving health and improving lives. Labcorp is seeking a Research Associate to join our Safety Pharmacology team at Alconbury, Cambridgeshire . Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm (37.5 hours).

Job Responsibilities

Perform cross-site pre-clinical studies according to study plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidance. Perform a wide range of pharmacological in vivo techniques in compliance with the United Kingdom Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 and associated Codes of Practice. Contribute to the design and customisation of animal model study plans for sponsors. Coordinate both regulatory and discovery studies. Prepare accurate, high-quality scientific reports for sponsors and internal stakeholders using data capture and data processing software. Maintain high-quality, accurate records in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

BSc in Pharmacology or an equivalent scientific discipline. Additional Job Standards: Knowledge of Safety Pharmacology and/or Respiratory Disease Pharmacology preferred. Previous experience working within a GLP-regulated laboratory environment is desirable. Home Office Licence Holder (PIL A) is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively, train others and challenge constructively.
