Responsible for the development, coordination, and delivery of technical and non-technical training programs, including assisting with instructional materials, LMS administration, and Operator Qualification (OQ) activities. This includes various Electric Distribution Occupations that require apprenticeship program administration. Conducts and/or supports training sessions, evaluations, field observations, and recordkeeping to promote safety, operational compliance, and workforce development. Identifies opportunities to improve training materials, delivery methods, and overall program effectiveness. Job Responsibilities
Lead development and delivery of technical training courses and progression testing Conduct training needs analysis and define learning solutions Develop and maintain technical work methods and procedures Design structured learning objectives and curriculum Lead LMS administration and training program coordination Manage training development projects from concept to delivery Deliver classroom, field, and leadership training Train field and support personnel on required tasks and procedures Provide subject matter expertise (SME) in at least one discipline Partner with Operations to address training and performance needs Evaluate effectiveness of training and behavioral outcomes Support safety, compliance, and operational performance initiatives Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities Perform duty supervisor and/or storm response role Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. In lieu of degree, a minimum of 3 years of experience in utility operations or technical training is required 2 years utility operations, construction, or adult technical instruction Core Skills
Foundational analytical thinking and problem solving Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal) Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment Organizational and time management skills Developing project coordination skills Basic proficiency in standard software (e.g., MS Office) Receptive to feedback and continuous learning mindset Introductory understanding of adult learning principles
Valid Driver's License required Preferred Qualifications
