Overview and Summary We are looking for a talented Senior Manager (Software Engineering) with a proven track record to join our engineering team. In this role, you will directly lead a team of software developers responsible for building, scaling, and securing high-performance HPE EdgeConnect appliances for the SASE (SD-WAN & Security) segment. This role requires a balance of deep technical management (C programming, Linux systems, hardware/virtual form factors) and people leadership to deliver enterprise-grade networking and security applications. What you’ll do:

Own up end to end software development life cycle for the appliance software, ensuring timely, high-quality releases across both physical hardware and virtual platforms Handle the headcount efficiently by organizing and optimizing team structures, capacity planning and allocation of resources for projects consistent with product roadmap and priorities Drive hiring to attract talented systems, networking and security developers Nurture a strong engineering culture
