The P&C Technology Transformation team is Celonis' intelligence layer for the P&C function, the glue between HR Processes and Technology. We own, evolve, and connect the P&C tech stack, driving automation, AI adoption, and seamless Celonaut experiences across 18 countries and the full Celonaut lifecycle. Our stack includes Workday, Greenhouse, Make, Jira, UKG, and an expanding set of AI and automation tooling.

We don't just implement technology, we design how work gets done. We're system experts, project leads, and solution builders in equal measure. We architect the intelligence layer of the P&C function, owning the systems, automations, and AI capabilities that power the Celonaut experience from hire to retire. Our approach is simple: maximise what we have, eliminate what slows us down, and lead the practical application of AI to make P&C a smarter, more scalable function, with the ultimate goal to deliver an exceptional employee experience.

This is a brand new role on the team, created to meet a strategic need that doesn't yet have an owner: turning our AI and automation ambitions into People & Culture curated production-ready solutions.

You'll be the primary builder of AI-powered workflows, agentic automations, and system integrations across our P&C tech ecosystem. You'll work hands-on with tools like Make, Claude and Workday. Designing and delivering solutions that meaningfully reduce manual effort and improve the Celonaut experience.

This is not a research role or a strategy role. It's 80% building, 20% shaping what we should build next. If you're energised by going from idea to working automation quickly, and you care about the P&C domain those automations serve, this role is for you.

As part of our tech strategy, we're moving from platform acquisition to feature optimisation and AI-driven intelligence. We need someone who can implement, maintain and enable agentic AI as a new way of working across the P&C function, not just theorise about it.

Build & deliver (80%)

• Design, build and maintain automations and agentic solutions across our P&C tech stack using Make, API integrations, and agentic AI frameworks

• Implement end-to-end AI workflows from prompt design and LLM orchestration to testing, deployment, and iteration as well as owning enabling our people teams on the new solution.

• Configure and extend Workday to support new automation logic and integration requirements

• Own the AI and automation layer of our tech ecosystem, keeping it performant, documented, and scalable

• Thinking outside the box and ahead of trends. New challenges will arise on this journey and maintenance and governance need to be part of the thought process.

• Project manage the projects you are working on end to end including stakeholder management, governance and enablement

Shape & advise (20%)

• Contribute to the team's AI strategy, bring ideas, evaluate new tools and frameworks, and help set the direction for what we build next

• Act as the team's go-to on AI feasibility: assess incoming
