About the role: As a Field Inventory Planner II, you will ensure the accuracy, availability and efficiency of field and distribution inventory while driving operational excellence through data analytics and process automation. Leveraging Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI, you will support the automation and enhancement of inventory processes, improving efficiency, traceability and continuous improvement across inventory operations. Your Responsibilities Include: Inventory planning and control
Execute daily inventory program transactions (capital evaluations, consignment, cycle-counting) and provide troubleshooting and support to the field selling organization. Coordinate liquidation and transfer of stock based on cost, age, and demand; initiate immediate actions in out-of-stock situations. Support new product launches by following established procedures and processes.
Data analysis and reporting
Perform analysis of operational and inventory data (inventory levels, forecast accuracy, service level, backorder, lead time, E&EO, short shelf life). Build, maintain, and clean databases for ongoing operations analysis. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Operations metrics reports and translate them into actionable insights for decision-making. Identify and diagnose key improvement opportunities based on trend and indicator analysis.
Process automation
Design and develop Power Apps applications to digitalize manual inventory processes (cycle-counting, consignment control, field requests, approvals). Automate repetitive workflows using Power Automate, integrating them with SAP, Excel, SharePoint, and other data sources. Build dynamic dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualize inventory KPIs in real time. Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and translate them into low-code technology solutions.
Quality and compliance
Document and execute inventory management processes in accordance with SOPs and work instructions (WIs). Participate in internal quality audits, follow-up meetings, and assigned tasks. Maintain compliance with the Quality Policy and other documented processes, demonstrating a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent experience. Advanced English proficiency (verbal and written). Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain, or operations. Demonstrated experience in data analysis (advanced Excel, pivot tables, report modeling). High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to prioritize under pressure. Strong communication skills, internal customer service mindset, and team-player attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP (inventory/logistics modules) or equivalent Legacy systems. Knowledge of Power BI for dashboard development. Familiarity with Salesforce.com (SFDC) and/or Tableau. Experience in the medical device industry or regulated (GxP) environments. Microsoft Power Platform certifications are a
