Eaton’s Electrical Sector – Americas is currently seeking a Direct Source Demand Planner to join the team. This is a HYBRID role (TWTH required office), Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm,based at the Moon Township (Pittsburgh), PA site. This role will prepare a mid to long term consensus demand plan (18-24 months) through coordination of sales and marketing forecasts into a planning and purchasing plan that will satisfy customer expectations, while minimizing inventory investment, and maximizing customer growth opportunities. You will issue purchase orders to internal and external suppliers. Additionally, this role will support demand planning and manufacturing operations to meet inventory and customer satisfaction goals. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills, who thrives in a dynamic matrixed organization. You can collect and incorporate multiple inputs from various sources to formulate an accurate consensus demand plan and can clearly communicate the essential information of a consensus demand plan to diverse stakeholders, ensuring alignment and informed decision-making. You demonstrate strong collaboration across functions while maintaining focus on delivering measurable business results with accordance to the SIOP calendar. Your ability to influence and communicate effectively makes you as a key contributor to the SIOP process. The expected annual salary range for this role is $86,250 - $126,500 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do: In this role: Demand Planning and SIOP – Lead, coordinate, and manage monthly Product Line reviews meeting on a monthly cadence for the Demand cycle of the SIOP process; prepare an 18–24 month forecast (statistical baseline, qualitative adjustments, market intelligence). Collect and incorporate customer forecasts and historical demand into the forecasting database as input to demand and procurement plans. Present demand plan outputs in relevant SIOP Demand Reviews. Manage and monitor Demand Planning KPIs (Forecast Accuracy, Bias at multiple product levels); perform root cause analysis of top errors. Internal/External Supplier Management – Create/Review 12–24 month netted supplier forecast by incorporating demand, supplier lead time, and inventory inputs. Coordinate with GPO on supplier -related activities: Supplier performance, lead times, price increase/decrease, etc. Review purchasing requisitions and issue purchase orders to internal and external suppliers to support service levels and inventory goals. Manage (expedite and/or delay) purchase orders to satisfy changing customer requirements and business objectives. Manage supplier invoice holds for timely resolution. Finished Goods Inventory Management – Use demand data and statistics to develop stock/non -stock classifications and reorder point analyses; review with stakeholders and implement. Manage and maintain finished goods inventory levels at distribution centers to maximize service while minimizing inventory investment; prepare FG inventory forecasts.Support/coordinate phase in of new products and phase out of obsolete items; monitor and minimize excess inventory investment. Logistics Coordination – Communicate/coordinate with distribution centers and logistics providers for shipment coordination and product receipt. Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Minimum 2 years’ experience in SIOP, Demand Planning, Production Planning, Purchasing, or Customer Service. No relocation benefit is being offered for this
