Advises cross-functional teams on technology selection to achieve target state architecture and decisions on improvements to current technologies Applies enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate architecture analysis, roadmap development, and design decisioning, with human-in-the-loop validation and appropriate handling of sensitive data. Develops multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and architecture strategy and priorities Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design, focusing on durability and reuse to improve velocity and quality across teams and functions Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others Serves as the function’s go-to subject matter expert and contributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies Establishes reuse-first AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance across SDLC/toolchain practices, ensuring traceability/auditability, resiliency, and security controls. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Formal training or certification on architecture concepts and 10+ years applied experience Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Expertise in one or more programming language(s) Deep knowledge of software, applications, and architecture, including advanced software architecture, application development, and technical processes within one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) Demonstrated experience applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment in architecture and engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity. Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into scalable platforms while meeting resiliency, security, and auditability requirements. Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplines Experience leading a product as a product owner or product manager Ability to present and effectively communicate to senior leaders and executives Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Experience working at code level Familiarity with agentic AI tooling (Claude Code, Copilot, MCP) and its application to platform operations and engineer productivity Experience with cloud landing zone and boundary constructs (portfolio, network, workload boundaries; trust scopes; SEAL-style architecture registration) Background in developer experience, technical enablement, or platform advocacy roles
