Dow has an opportunity for a Treasury Analyst located in Sao Paulo, Brazil . The role exists within the Financial Operations process which is the backbone of the Treasury function. The primary responsibilities of this role are to manage cash positions, forecasts, and liquidity, back-office activities, bank account administration, other cash management supporting activities, and back-up for Central Bank reports. About you and this role - What you would do in this role The successful candidate will receive considerable exposure to and experience in Treasury Systems and SAP ECC. The incumbent must be able to build and maintain effective communications across functions and outside the company mainly with financial institutions. The incumbent is responsible for taking initiative in problem solving and to independently follow up with third parties where required. We are looking for a hard-working individual with a “Can Do” attitude.
Responsibilities
Open cash position and make final closing transfers FX conversions and short-term investment strategies through bank negotiations to optimize liquidity and enhance financial return Back Office for risk management activities (FX deals, investments loans confirmations) and financial operations (daily transfer, investments, etc)Manage intercompany debt: monthly AP reviews, credit note compensation, and debt offsetting across LATAM Bank documentation management Ensure compliance with Central Bank regulations and FX controls; support monthly external reporting Close interaction with several areas (Payroll, Legal, ITO, I2C, APAY, Tax and Controllers) in relation to Treasury activities. Participating in different Treasury projects Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or similar English Intermediate (advance preferred) Spanish Intermediate (preferred) 1 year or more relevant experience, preferable in Finance or Treasury Good understanding of accounting and knowledge of financial market products (investments, FX) Good Treasury Systems and SAP knowledge is a plus Sound computer literacy in Excel, SAP and desirable Power BI Your Skills Effective interpersonal skills Well-organized, mature, meticulous, and independent Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines Experience in handling multiple priorities Ability to understand banking regulations and contracts with banks IMPORTANT INFORMATION Sign in or create your account.
