Position Summary

Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. We offer comprehensive end-to-end support and advisory services, covering areas such as valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. The team works closely with clients at every stage of their journey, helping them navigate challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and implement practical solutions before, during, and after major transformational projects or transactions creating lasting impact. Join Deloitte’s M&A Integration & Divestiture (I&D) practice as a Manager in Strategy & Governance (S&G), focused on working with Life Sciences organizations. You will help clients bring structure and momentum to integrations and divestitures by shaping governance, planning Day 1, and driving execution across the deal lifecycle. Recruiting for this role ends on 7/28/2026 Work You’ll Do As a Manager in M&A I&D S&G team, you will be responsible for: Leading workstreams for integration and divestiture engagements across the M&A lifecycle Defining transaction strategy, operating model, and governance structure to drive integration/divestiture execution, decision-making, and accountability across workstreams Developing Day 1 plans, workplans, milestones, governance forums, and executive-ready materials to support transaction execution Coordinating cross-functional teams to manage interdependencies, risks, issue resolution, and alignment to transaction objectives Analyzing transactions, operational, and organizational inputs to inform execution decisions, value capture priorities, and future-state planning Managing day-to-day client relationships, overseeing deliverable quality, mentoring junior practitioners, and contributing to proposal development A successful candidate would possess these skills: Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team Effective written and verbal communication skills Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product Ability to build and sustain professional relationships Ability to lead projects or workstreams Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor Ability to meet deadlines Ability to mentor and provide clear guidance to others The Team M&A advises corporate and PE clients across inorganic growth/divestiture scenarios through M&A strategy, diligence, integration/separation planning and
