About this role
COMPANY OVERVIEW We exist to make food the world loves. But we do more than that. Our company is a place that prioritizes being a force for good, a place to expand learning, explore new perspectives and reimagine new possibilities, every day. We look for people who want to bring their best — bold thinkers with big hearts who challenge one another and grow together. Because becoming the undisputed leader in food means surrounding ourselves with people who are hungry for what’s next.
OVERVIEW As the Global Chemical Residue and Contaminant Supplier & Ingredient Program Coordinator, you will help implement and execute the program, supporting product compliance by partnering with ingredient suppliers and internal stakeholders worldwide to evaluate supplier management programs and ingredient test results against compliance requirements. You will make routine acceptability decisions, escalate issues, prepare stakeholder reports, and respond to emerging trends. As part of the Food Safety and Quality(FSQ) community, you will build deep knowledge of supplier chemical residue and contaminant compliance, gain exposure to global food regulatory affairs, and work across cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Implement and execute the Global Chemical Residue and Contaminant Supplier & Ingredient Program — rollout planning and communications, data system and operations improvements, evaluating supplier survey responses against General Mills expectations, assigning risk-based ingredient specifications, and reviewing certificates of analysis for compliance. Enter, manage, and analyze data, and compile and share routine reports for key stakeholders. Create and deliver training on program operations for a range of audiences. Partner with suppliers, General Mills Sourcing, and External Quality Management to resolve or escalate issues, and communicate required information to manufacturing sites to support audit readiness. Collaborate with regional and global partners on ingredient acceptability and emerging chemical residue and contaminant issues.
