Main responsibilities
[Hiring team to provide specific responsibilities here. [Target 5 – 10 max main responsibilities] Lead all aspects of store operations to achieve sales, profit, customer service, and operational goals. Champion customer service initiatives and ensure exceptional customer experiences while resolving customer concerns professionally. Direct, coach, and develop department managers and store associates to maximize performance and engagement. Oversee hiring, training, performance management, succession planning, and associate development. Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, safety regulations, and operational standards. Manage store financial performance, including budgeting, expense control, inventory management, and shrink reduction. Maintain store conditions, product quality, merchandising standards, and regulatory compliance across all departments. Review staffing plans and schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient labor utilization. Build positive relationships with customers, associates, community partners, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Monitor local market conditions and competitor activity and provide operational recommendations to division leadership.

Computer software and store operating systems.
Emergency response procedures and business continuity practices. Abilities : Ability to lead and motivate large teams in a dynamic retail environment. Ability to identify business opportunities and make sound short-term and long-term decisions. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining operational excellence. Ability to effectively resolve customer and associate concerns. Ability to analyze business results and drive performance improvements. Ability to lift and move items up to approximately 50 pounds as needed. Ability to stand, walk, and work for extended periods throughout the store.
