Pre-Sales Manager, Channel Networking – Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Location: London, Manchester, Winnersh or Erskine Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Lead the Team Powering HPE's Channel Success This is an exciting time to join HPE Networking. Following the integration of Juniper Networks, HPE has strengthened its position as a leader in enterprise networking, creating significant opportunities for growth across our partner ecosystem. With the vast majority of HPE's networking business delivered through channel partners, we are looking for an experienced leader to manage and develop our Channel Pre-Sales Engineering team. As our Pre-Sales Manager , you will lead a team of Technical Account Managers responsible for enabling our reseller and distribution partners to design, position, demonstrate and implement HPE Networking solutions. You will play a critical role in developing partner capability, driving business growth and ensuring our partners have the technical expertise needed to succeed. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced people leader or a high-performing technical leader ready to take the next step into management.
What You'll Do
Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team Manage and coach a team of Technical Account Managers supporting HPE's channel partners. Provide leadership, mentoring and career development to drive team performance and engagement. Set clear objectives and monitor progress against business goals. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement. Drive Partner Success Work closely with Partner Account Managers to develop and execute partner business plans. Oversee technical enablement strategies that help partners grow their HPE Networking business. Ensure partners have access to the training, certifications and technical resources required to succeed. Build strong relationships with key channel partners, distributors and internal stakeholders. Deliver Business Impact Align technical resources with strategic business priorities. Support the achievement of revenue growth and partner development objectives . Drive operational excellence across the team, ensuring effective planning, prioritisation and execution. Act as an escalation point for technical and customer-related challenges. Champion Technical Excellence Support your team in delivering exceptional technical consultancy and solution positioning. Promote best practices across networking technologies and partner enablement programmes. Maintain awareness of industry trends and competitive developments within the networking market.
What We're Looking For
Experience 7+ years' experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, technical consulting or related technology role. Experience leading, mentoring or managing teams, either through formal people management or leadership of virtual teams and cross-functional projects. Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business or enablement plans. Experience working within channel,
