As a Senior Engineer, Process Automation at Moderna, you will play a critical role in supporting our advanced GxP manufacturing operations. Working with cutting-edge automation technologies - including Aveva System Platform, Rockwell Automation ControlLogix, DeltaV, Syncade, Apprentice Tempo, and Aveva PI Historian - you will help ensure the reliable operation of the systems that power the manufacture of our transformative mRNA medicines. Here's What You'll Do: Troubleshoot complex issues across GxP Process Automation Systems, including DeltaV and Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ensuring reliable and efficient manufacturing operations. Support the operation of Moderna's GxP manufacturing automation systems, including Aveva System Platform, Rockwell Automation ControlLogix, DeltaV, Syncade, Apprentice Tempo, and Aveva PI Historian. Foster and sustain a culture of compliance, ensuring regulatory and quality standards are embedded in both the design of automation solutions and the day-to-day operation and maintenance of manufacturing systems. Provide technical leadership through coaching and mentoring junior engineers, helping to build capability and strengthen engineering excellence across the team. Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications) Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technology discipline. 5-10 years working with process automation systems. Clear communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner to various stakeholders. Flexibility to occasionally cover off-hours, holidays, and weekends as necessary.
