Short Introduction We are seeking a customer-focused and technically driven Application Engineer to bridge innovative technologies with customer needs. In this role, you will lead application activities, optimize process performance, and work closely with customers to deliver high-impact technical solutions. What’s in It for You? What You'll Be Doing
Develop, optimize, and document process recipes to meet product and customer specifications. Collaborate directly with customers to understand technical requirements, provide guidance, and deliver effective solutions. Conduct application testing, validation activities, and communicate results clearly to stakeholders. Support customers both remotely and onsite throughout qualification, implementation, and ramp-up phases. Work closely with R&D, Product, and Process Engineering teams to troubleshoot challenges and drive customer success. Prepare technical documentation, application notes, reports, and customer-facing materials. Translate complex technical concepts into clear and accessible information for a variety of audiences. What You Should Have? B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline. Hands-on experience developing or optimizing process recipes in semiconductor, thin-film, materials processing, or related industries. Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and communicate effectively. Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and professional documentation. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and customer engagements. Experience working with process equipment and tool qualification activities. Familiarity with data analysis tools and technical problem-solving methodologies. Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
Nice to Have
Experience within the semiconductor industry. Knowledge of process optimization and application development methodologies. Previous experience supporting global customers in a technical environment. Exposure to statistical analysis and data-driven process improvements.
