Basic Job Functions Rytec Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This position supports plant operations by maximizing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and equipment performance. Essential Functions
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems. Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. Complete and document maintenance work orders within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and performance. Fabricate and modify equipment components using appropriate tools and equipment. Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams and outside contractors as needed. Maintain facility systems, including lighting, compressed air, plumbing, HVAC, and building infrastructure Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, and other equipment as authorized Maintain an organized work area and support 5S and housekeeping initiatives. Respond to emergency maintenance needs and support after-hours maintenance activities when required. Perform other duties as assigned.
