As an Industrial Engineer for John Deere Cylinder Internal Platform located in Moline, IL, you will:
Develop labor standards and improve process flow through manufacturing operation. Identify, develop, and manage projects that improve the operational efficiency, or create cost savings. Participate in analysis, development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technology. Mentor/Instruct remote resources on establishing routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs of moderate scope.

3 or more years experience with shop floor manufacturing, incentive pay systems and work measurement Understanding of basic motion and time study and lean manufacturing principles Proficient using engineering tools and software systems such as WPlanner, MPPlanner, SAP, Recon and FIA 2 or more years experience working with multi-functional groups in a team environment Proficient in Microsoft Office software Demonstrated good written and verbal (English) communications skills What Makes You Stand Out
Trained in Industrial Engineering policies and procedures Experience in Assembly, Machining and Weld manufacturing environments Proven communication skills who has an ability to influence without authority Experience in project management and business planning Proficient applying lean manufacturing principles for process improvements Experience in roles that demonstrate an understanding of key drivers for productivity improvement Experience with process and line design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance and visual management Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical), Analytics, Computer Science, or a similar mathematics-based discipline
