Job Summary

Join Caterpillar's Cat Digital organization as a Business Intelligence Analyst within Integrated Product Management and help transform data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. This entry-level role provides an opportunity to work alongside product owners, business partners, and analytics professionals to develop insight solutions and support strategic initiatives through data-driven decision-making. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will gain hands-on experience working with analytics tools, business intelligence platforms, and enterprise data environments while building foundational skills in data analysis, requirements gathering, data visualization, and stakeholder communication.
What You Will Do
Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, and team members to solve business problems through data analysis and visualizations Develop, test, and deliver dashboards and visualizations that provide meaningful business insights Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and communicate findings through clear and compelling data storytelling Support the collection, documentation, and analysis of business and technical requirements. Assist in evaluating existing visualization solutions and recommend enhancements that improve user experience and business value. Research business and market trends to support visualizations and analytics strategies. Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and process guides that support ongoing reporting and analytics efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reporting solutions meet business needs and quality standards. What you will have: Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Strong understanding of the importance of data quality and accuracy. Ability to perform analytical tasks with precision and attention to detail. Effective Communication: Ability to clearly communicate technical and business concepts to a variety of audiences. Business Data Analysis: Foundational knowledge of data analysis techniques and methodologies. Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret business data to support decision-making. Business Assessment: Understanding of how to evaluate business opportunities, risks, and potential outcomes. Ability to support analysis that drives business improvements and strategic recommendations.
Requirements
