About the role
Main lead in finance operations which include but not limited to providing analysis on aged WIP and receivables to drive timely billing and collections and ensure invoices approval and payment processing are made on a timely basis. Reviewing the monthly financial reporting pack and providing insightful analys i s of performance/KPIs. Preparation of the management report for monitoring the financial performance and provide insight of the numbers to facilitate management on their decision making . Managing the cashflow projections and updating management on a weekly basis on receipts and payment movements. Collaborate with the business stakeholders to provide professional advice on relevant accounting practice and tax advice . Ensure all corporate, statutory/government reporting requirements are compiled in an accurate and timely manner . Responsible for GST and tax compliance including review of quarterly GST filings , submission of withholding tax and yearly annual tax filings . Producing periodic & on-demand management information . Work on special projects to set up the necessary support infrastructure and change for the practice Focal point-of-contact for all accounting related matters with internal and external stakeholders including shared services team, HQ finance team, Tax team, banks, external auditors, and other regulatory bodies. Any adhoc projects as assigned.
About You
Degree / ACCA or any other professional accounting qualification is strongly desirable. Proficiency in MS Office suite , especially Excel spreadsheet skill . Minimum 6 - 8 years of experience in a statutory & management / finance bu siness partnering role preferably in a professional services environment or consulting practise . Experience in managing offshore accounting team. Good interpersonal skills and strong team player . Must be meticulous, organised and possesses a flair for numbers . E ffective problem-solving skills . M ultitask ing which includ es the ability to manage several competing priorities at the same time . Analytical mind, energetic, self-motivated, hands on and the ability to work independently yet achiev ing set goals and targets within deadlines , is preferred.
