While our global headquarters are in the Baltimore, Maryland, USA area, McCormick operates and serves customers from nearly 60 locations in 25 countries and 170 markets in Asia-Pacific, China, Europe, Middle East and Africa, and the Americas, including North, South and Central America Position Overview : The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Analyst is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing electronic data transactions between McCormick and its global business trading partners. This role ensures seamless system integration, accurate data exchange, and compliance with industry standards across multiple businesses and international locations. The EDI Analyst works within a complex, multi-system environment, supporting business operations through interface automation, data conversion, error resolution, and system improvements. This position requires collaboration with internal teams (IT, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales & Distribution, and Customer Service) and external partners (suppliers, customers, banks, logistics provides and other third-party service providers) to ensure efficient and secure data flow. Primary purpose: The purpose of this role is to drive operational efficiency by ensuring reliable, accurate, and automated data transactions. By managing EDI processes, integrations, and compliance, the EDI Analyst reduces manual effort, minimizes errors, and enhances overall business performance. This role also plays a critical part in continuous improvement and digital transformation, identifying opportunities for process automation, system optimization, and enhanced data governance. Through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and innovation, the EDI Analyst strengthens the organization's ability to execute seamless electronic transactions and maintains strong relationships with business partners. Key Responsibilities 1. EDI Monitoring & Error Resolution • Monitors, maintains, and troubleshoots EDI transactions in various EDI standards across Order Management, Logistics, Purchasing, Disbursements, Finance, Billing, Planning, and Sales & Distribution areas. • Provides administrative support, error documentation, testing and resolution to ensure seamless electronic data exchange. • Supports EDI operations globally covering EMEA, NA and APAC, APZ countries. 2. EDI Integration & Partner Management • Establishes and maintains EDI connections with business trading partners, managing inbound and outbound, internal, and inter-company data flows. • Ensures accurate data conversion rules, testing and documentation for system integration. 3. Process & System Optimization • Supports SAP & Seeburger upgrades, automation initiatives, and system enhancements and testing to improve efficiency. • Participates in cross-functional business projects to lead and ensure EDI governance and EDI solutions meeting organizational needs. • Provides expertise, consultation, and problem analysis resolution, ensuring smooth execution of EDI processes. 4. Data Governance & Compliance • Enforces EDI standards and best practices, SOX controls, and compliance requirements to maintain data integrity and security. • Manages the Data
