Lobby Ambassador – JLL What this job involves: The Lobby Ambassador serves as the essential first point of contact for employees, visitors, and clients at our Cisco San Jose campus, delivering a premium hospitality experience that reflects JLL's commitment to workplace excellence. This role combines front desk operations, visitor management, and proactive workplace support to create a welcoming, professional environment. You will be responsible for maintaining exceptional service standards, managing daily reception activities, and ensuring every interaction reinforces our dedication to outstanding customer experience. This position plays a critical role in shaping positive first impressions while supporting the operational needs of our client and workplace teams. What your day-to-day will look like: Greet and welcome employees, guests, vendors, and clients with professionalism and warmth, setting a positive tone for their workplace experience Manage comprehensive visitor registration, check-in/check-out processes, and real-time guest notifications to ensure seamless access and security compliance Maintain an organized, presentation-ready lobby, reception area, and common spaces through routine inspections and proactive housekeeping coordination Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and workplace inquiries efficiently, directing requests to appropriate teams and providing immediate support where possible Support conference room and meeting space operations, including setup coordination, technology assistance, and scheduling support Process workplace service requests including badge issuance, lost and found management, and general office support tasks Coordinate closely with security, facilities, and workplace experience teams to address employee and visitor needs promptly and effectively Maintain accurate daily activity logs, visitor records, and operational reports to support service delivery tracking and compliance requirements Deliver exceptional customer service by anticipating needs, resolving issues proactively, and identifying opportunities to enhance the workplace experience Support special events, executive visits, client meetings, and workplace initiatives as assigned, ensuring flawless execution and hospitality standards Follow all safety, security, and company policies while maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment in sensitive situations Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 1–2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, reception, facilities management, or a related client-facing role Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage professionally across all organizational levels Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mindset Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn workplace management systems Professional appearance, demeanor, and conduct that reflects JLL's brand standards Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team Flexibility to support additional Cisco locations within the San Jose campus as business needs require.
