Job Purpose Provides a general summary of the job. The FP & A – Sr. Manager will serve as a strategic change agent within Principal Asset Management, leading initiatives across Financial Management and Risk and Control domains. Financial Management oversight consists of proactive budget and expense management planning, oversight of committed activities and reporting within our Global Delivery location strategy, and close collaboration with business stakeholders to create a framework and model for unit costing of our functions. The Risk and Control domain focuses on key metrics that drive the health of our production BAU functions and ensuring reporting visibility into risk hotspots and solutions for mitigation. This role partners with stakeholders at all levels to break down intricate business processes and translate complex scenarios into clear, actionable strategies. The Sr. Manager will take on independent ownership of strategy, planning, and execution and ensure stakeholders are managed throughout the process to achieve collective and collaborative outcomes. Whether leading an initiative directly or potentially managing junior team members in support of deliverables/outcomes, the Sr. Manager will be looked upon as a leader who will provide thought leadership, influence decisions, and ensure all communication channels (formal and informal) are actively managed at all levels.
