WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH You will work as a member of the GRS HR and Talent team, collaborating closely with the Vice President, Global Talent Management, Global Services Heads, managers, supervisors, individual employees, and local HR teams across the globe. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor on HR programs, talent initiatives, and employee matters while leading members of the GRS HR and Talent team and supporting their professional development. WHERE YOU'LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM The Senior Manager, Global HR and Talent manages HR programs and activities within assigned business units and serves as a senior advisor to Global Services Heads and business leaders. The role partners with leaders to address people-related priorities, collaborates with HR teams globally to ensure effective HR management, and oversees key HR programs and talent initiatives across the employee lifecycle. This is a 7-month temporary position.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
HR Leadership & Strategic Partnership Lead the HR team responsible for assigned GRS function/sub-function(s) or Service Line(s). Serve as a senior-level advisor and strategic thought partner to Global Services Heads and Senior Functional/Service Line Leaders on people issues, initiatives, and related business implications. Influence and make recommendations to management on key issues that are often complex in nature. HR Programs & Employee Lifecycle Manage the HR team responsible for HR processes and programs across the employee lifecycle. Manage the development and deployment of new policies, programs, or processes with broad organizational impact. Employee Relations & Risk Management Play a key leadership role in minimizing employment risk by proactively recognizing, investigating, and addressing employee relations issues. Apply advanced business judgment to complex employee and policy issues while identifying and addressing next-order implications. Talent Initiatives Oversee talent projects, or segments of major projects, for stakeholders and the GRS HR and Talent team.
ABOUT YOU
Experience 8–10 years of professional experience as an HR generalist with demonstrated success serving as an HR advisor to management. Experience working in a professional services environment preferred. Experience managing HR staff in a high-standards environment.
Education
Associate or Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong customer service orientation and business acumen. Demonstrated ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, discretion, and creativity in evolving situations. Demonstrated success interfacing with and influencing business leaders on talent topics and employee issues, including performance management, employee relations, and organizational design. Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
