We are seeking a skilled IT Analyst Applications (Python Developer) to join India Cybersecurity Support -CAT IT Division. The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore – Caterpillar PSN What you will do We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst / Web Developer with a strong background in Power BI , Python scripting , and web technologies to design, develop, and maintain data-driven solutions. This role combines analytics, visualization, and web development to transform complex data into actionable insights and interactive applications for business stakeholders. Data Analysis & Visualization Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights Develop and optimize data models , DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reporting solutions Web Development Develop and maintain web applications and dashboards using modern web technologies Integrate data visualizations and analytics into web interfaces Implement responsive UI components and ensure cross-browser compatibility Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional web solutions Python & Automation Use Python scripting for data extraction, transformation, and automation tasks Build reusable scripts and tools to streamline reporting workflows Integrate Python-based analytics with Power BI and web applications where appropriate Data Integration & Collaboration Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (SQL, APIs, cloud platforms, flat files) Partner with business users, engineers, and analysts to refine requirements Document solutions, processes, and data definitions for long-term maintainability Support data governance, security, and best practices What you will have  Experience with Power BI Service , deployment pipelines, and performance tuning Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) Experience with frameworks such as Django, React, or Node.js Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL pipelines Understanding of security, authentication, and role-based access control This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the Hosur Facility Shift Timing:01:00-10:00PM IST Skills desired: Core Application Systems: Knowledge of major production application systems used for
