What You'll Do
Epic Games is looking for a Technical Game Director to lead a multi-platform systems design effort using Unreal Engine’s capabilities to bring LEGO gameplay to life. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with a range of game types matched by equal expertise in creating traditional game depth through systemic design.

• Build a playable vision by testing fun through rapid prototyping and iterating alongside skilled programming and art teams
• Establish extensible game paradigms that can be added to for years at high dev ROI
• Develop a compelling, shareable vision for non-technical stakeholders that’s rooted in robust, replayable systems
• Work alongside product management, marketing, and community teams to continually evolve the game and delight players daily by leveraging original and IP experiences
What we're looking for
• 8+ years of experience shipping multiple titles as a hands-on systems designer, design leader, and technical implementer
• Experience designing building-based systems and rules integrations to recreate physical play through digital experiences
• Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine systems, like Blueprints for prototyping and tuning designs
• Strong interest in the LEGO brand, lifestyle games, and player-first mobile gaming
