About this role
About Carvana If you like disrupting the norm and are looking to join a company revolutionizing an industry, then you will LOVE what Carvana has done for the car buying experience. Buying a car the old-fashioned way sucks and we are working hard to make it NOT suck. I mean, have you seen our vending machine?!
We are looking for people who are excited to thrive in an environment of impactful change. Team spirit is evident at Carvana, and every day we let our passions and creativity foster innovation. We take big swings, set ambitious goals, and challenge each other to make data- and process-driven decisions in everything we do. About the team and position Carvana’s Litigation Team is a high-performing group of attorneys, analysts, and e-discovery professionals who partner with every corner of the business. We handle a portfolio of nationwide regulatory, litigation, and arbitration matters spanning single-plaintiff lawsuits, class actions, regulatory investigations, and securities claims.
As a Legal Analyst on our Regulatory Response team, you’ll own the complaints consumers filed against Carvana with state attorneys general, regulatory agencies, and other consumer protection bodies. You’ll investigate what actually happened, work across the business to get answers, and write the response that goes to the agency. You'll also turn what you learn into insight the business can use—surfacing the root causes and process breakdowns behind the complaints so our attorneys and business partners can fix them. The best outcome of this job isn't a well-written response. It's a complaint that never gets filed.
Our practice is deeply integrated with technology, automation, and AI. If you’re a self-starter who moves fast and is curious, adaptable, and energized by solving novel problems, you’ll thrive here and help us continue redefining how in-house legal work gets done.
This position reports directly to Senior Counsel and works daily with a team of dedicated analysts.
This role is located at corporate headquarters in Tempe, Arizona, and is a fully on-site position, Monday through Friday.

• Work closely with the company’s business units to collect, review, and analyze the facts and core records needed to respond to complaints.
• Execute structured intake and drafting workflows using AI and other automation tools to generate initial deliverables, then independently review, edit, and finalize materials for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with team standards and approach.
• Generate responses to initial and rebuttal regulatory complaints, providing nuanced research and analysis.
