As a Senior Commodity Manager, you will have the opportunity to negotiate and manage all aspects of PACCAR’s relationship with suppliers, including the commercial/contractual requirements with respect to total cost, technology, quality, delivery, customer service, aftermarket support, and logistics. Leads strategic sourcing and supplier management for wiring harnesses, battery cables, connectors, terminals, and related electrical distribution components, driving cost, quality, delivery, and technology objectives. Partners with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to evaluate harness and battery cable designs for cost optimization, manufacturability, value engineering, and design-to-cost initiatives throughout the product lifecycle. Leverages expertise in wiring harness architecture, routing, packaging, materials, and manufacturing processes to identify cost drivers, benchmark designs, and support sourcing decisions. Develops should-cost models and conducts detailed cost analyses for harness assemblies and battery cable systems, including labor content, material utilization, tooling, and supplier manufacturing strategies. Collaborates with product development teams early in the design phase to influence component selection, supplier strategy, and sourcing decisions that improve total cost of ownership and supply chain resilience. Evaluates supplier technical capabilities, manufacturing processes, and design support resources to ensure alignment with current and future product requirements. Negotiate and assure supplier compliance to long-term supply and warranty agreements.  Issue formal Requests for Information, Proposals and Quotes (RFI’s, RFP’s, and RFQ’s) and analyze responses to make sound commercial judgments and sourcing recommendations. Collaborate with PACCAR operations worldwide to successfully develop and execute global supply chain and commodity strategies.  Communicate and conduct meetings and formal presentations with suppliers, plant, and division personnel at all management levels.   Travel to suppliers and PACCAR's operating locations to negotiate, evaluate capabilities, assess production readiness, and investigate new opportunities. Qualifications & Skills Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field. 7+ years of work experience. Minimum of 5 years of sourcing, supply chain, engineering, logistics or related experience. Creative, self-motivated quality and results-driven work ethic.
