What you'll do
Every day, semiconductors and technology products move across borders into some of the most tightly regulated markets in the world — and it's compliance specialists like you who make sure those shipments are legal, documented, and defensible. As our Junior Trade Compliance Specialist EMEA, you'll support Arrow's compliance and risk management team in ensuring international shipments meet EU and U.S. export control laws, working alongside national export authorities across Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, France, the UK, and others. You'll join a distributed EMEA compliance team spanning multiple countries, focused on Compliance Risk Management, Export License Management, and Customer Controls across Arrow's global businesses — with plenty of support as you build your expertise.
What you'll be doing
Process global supply chain partner reviews, including restricted/denied parties list matches and due diligence verifications Collect, review, and vet End Use Statements Monitor and clear transactions day-to-day in line with applicable laws and regulations Analyze transactional reports Support the preparation and submission of government license applications and reports, with growing complexity as you gain experience Respond to internal compliance requests Classify commodities based on EU/US Dual-Use lists Conduct and document due diligence for partners and transactions What we're looking for 1–2 years of experience in Logistics, Customs, or International Trade Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field Business fluency in Italian and English Fluency preferably in French, or another European language is a plus Strong Excel skills and general MS Office proficiency Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills Self-starter, comfortable navigating challenging or ambiguous situations Oracle experience Background in customs, logistics, transportation, or HTS/tariff classification Interest in the semiconductor industry and technical affinity AI tools affinity and interest What's in it for you Competitive salary, holiday entitlement, and benefits aligned with local standards in your country A permanent contract from day one, on a genuinely international team Structured onboarding with learning and job shadowing alongside peers across EMEA and beyond Professional and soft-skills training Cross-country group projects with colleagues from multiple functions and cultures A dedicated mentor for support and career guidance Clear paths for career development within Arrow Annual Hiring Range On Target Earnings (Base Pay + Target Variable Pay) 28 750 to 40 000 EURO Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
