About this role

What you'll do

Review, analyze and process purchase requisitions Process purchase change orders and requests for quotes (RFQ's) to suppliers Manage purchase order releases daily to meet demand requirements Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner Work with the suppliers on a daily basis to assure scheduled deliveries are met Understand, maintain weekly reports Develop and maintain key supplier relationships with day-to-day interface (peer level) to review open action items, suppliers performance to commitments of on time deliveries, future demand and future cost reductions forecasting

Who we’re looking for

Commercial education - e.g. apprenticeship (LAP) or HAK Experience in the semiconductor industry or other technical industry is preferred Basic understanding of commodity market indicators and technical data  Six Sigma certification, 8D training, APICS certification • Prior experience managing the commercial and tactical aspects of supply chain requirements

What We're Offering

This position is subject to the  Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group D or E depending on educational background. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
