As a People Operations Manager, you will be joining the People Operations team, which consists of 19 members. Your primary goal is to contribute to Qonto's success by delivering an exceptional employee experience to all our Qonto team members - with a strong focus on our Spanish talents. You will be a key figure for our Barcelona office, acting as the on-site representative of the People team and the go-to presence for Qontoers and managers locally. As a member of the People Operations team, you will be deeply involved in the day-to-day HR matters of our Qonto team members in Spain.  Your role involves managing HR-related matters and becoming a strong partner for the entire team by: Being the main point of contact for a specific scope, addressing daily queries from Qontoers, managers, and providers. Serving as the reference person for HR-related topics, including Onboarding/Offboarding, Payroll, Legal, HR policies and processes, HRIS, and more. Acting as an advisor on local legal practices and Spanish labor regulations, notably supporting the HRBP team on the ground.

Please note that this opportunity is not available for full remote work. According to our remote policy, you can work remotely for up to 2 days a week, but we expect you to be on-site in Barcelona for at least 3 days a week — your presence is central to your role as the People team's local anchor.

👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a People Operations Manager at Qonto, you will: Barcelona Office Presence: Be the key on-site representative for the People team in Barcelona, ensuring Qontoers and managers have a trusted local point of contact for all HR matters. Daily Operations: As the primary point of contact for Qonto employees and managers, your role is to ensure a seamless onboarding and offboarding process for employees. You will also address day-to-day HR queries, ensuring compliance with HR rules and standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate people data in various HR systems (Workday). HR Policies and Processes: Within the People team, you will serve as the go-to expert for human resources policies, procedures, and contracts. Your role will also involve participating in the creation of standardised HR practices for the Spanish office. Legal Advisory: Advise on local legal practices and employment regulations in Spain, acting as a reference point for the HRBP team when navigating country-specific HR matters. HR projects: Your contribution to the People team will involve enhancing our working methods and HR policies to provide an exceptional employee experience.
