What You Will Do
Lead, conduct, and plan internal quality system, value stream, process, and product audits. Perform all formal responsibilities of a lead auditor such as audit team selection, audit planning, representing the audit team with PW site leadership, conducting opening and closing meetings and daily debriefs with management, completing an audit report and issuing, reviewing, and approving formal corrective actions. Conduct comprehensive audit preparation and planning based on historical and current performance data. Maintain audit records and manage associated corrective actions to closure. Create and assist in the maintenance of audit process standard work. Assist in the development of an annual audit schedule. Serve as the main point of contact for the main AS9100 certificate; ensure audits are planned and executed as required through coordination with the Certification Body and sites. Support regulatory and customer audits as needed. Participate in process improvement initiatives. Interact and communicate with various groups and levels of management. Demonstrate high level of customer focus, business judgment, adaptability, teamwork, and communication skills.
Qualifications
You Must Have: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience. 5+ years Aviation, Space, and Defense with quality auditing experience. AS9100 Lead Auditor Certificate. Working knowledge of RCCA tools. Detailed knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes and requirements as well as the ability to read and comprehend work instructions, quality manuals, and other detailed instructions Able to travel 30-50% both domestic and internationally. The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
