Job Summary
Services, supports, and maintains electrical equipment within the determined geographical location. Performs electrical preventative maintenance on equipment using the Maximo system.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: · Maintain safe work habits and actions in all aspects of daily tasks by evaluating reactive work for safety issues, planning projects so that safety is key, and reviewing preventative work for unforeseen safety hurdles. · Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatuses, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of breakdowns and correct problems efficiently. · Conform to National Electric Code, NFPA 70E, Cummins Production Equipment Specifications, and applicable international standards to maintain, install, and operate electrical systems 600 volts and below. · Plan, install, assemble, and troubleshoot electrical and communication wiring, circuit breakers, equipment, fixtures, and conduit to ensure reliable system performance. · Utilize plant electrical distribution knowledge and software systems to support customer needs, prioritize maintenance activities, and manage reactive, planned, preventative, and predictive work. · Prepare sketches, notes modifications, and follow blueprints to determine wiring and equipment locations while ensuring conformance to building and safety codes. · Communicate technical information to customers, collaborate cross-functionally with support teams, and assist in training department personnel and apprentices. · Participate in improvement projects, apply problem-solving techniques, maintain housekeeping and safety standards, remain flexible, and complete work with minimal supervision.
